Adblue
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), often called AdBlue, is a combination of urea and de-ionised water.
Most modern diesel vehicles (cars, vans, HGVs) now have euro 6 engines to help reduce harmful levels of emissions in our environment. Adblue is injected into the exhaust system to react with harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx), turning them into nitrogen (N2) and water (H2O).
Without adequate levels of Adblue, your vehicle won't start, so to look after your future self, we suggest you top up as soon as the warning appears.
